Locked down by your own browser
Netwhat tells your browser it may only talk to Netwhat’s own site and the shared price list. Every other connection is blocked, so nothing you type can be sent anywhere, even by mistake. You don’t have to take our word for it: the rule is in the page source for anyone to read, the app keeps working in aeroplane mode, and you can turn live prices off to keep it offline for good.
What it does
Your net worth, month by month
Assets minus debts, shown in pounds, dollars or euros. Netwhat saves where you ended each month, so you can see how far you’ve come and what changed.
Live prices for shares, crypto and gold
Add a holding by its ticker and Netwhat keeps its value up to date, with the day’s change beside it. Cash, pensions, property and anything else, you update yourself whenever you like.
Spending and bills, month by month
Note what you spend, add regular bills once, and tick them off as they’re paid. You’ll see what’s gone out, what’s still due and where the money went.

How to get Pro
Email us or message us on Discord. We’ll sort out payment and send you a Pro key, which you enter in Settings.
Put it on your home screen
Netwhat runs in your browser, and you can install it so it opens like any other app. There’s no app store download.

Open Netwhat in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.

Open Netwhat in Chrome, tap the ⋮ menu, then Install app or Add to Home screen.

Open Netwhat in Chrome or Edge and click the install icon at the right of the address bar.
Used the old Netwhat?
Bring everything across, including your monthly history, in three steps.

In the old app, open Settings and choose Export data (JSON).

Open the new Netwhat on the same device and go to Settings.

Choose Restore or import and pick the file you saved.
Questions
What happens if I lose my phone?
Your data lives only on your device, so make a backup from Settings now and then. A backup is one small file you can keep anywhere, and restoring it on a new device brings everything back.
Is it really free?
Yes. The free version has no time limit, no cap on what you track and no adverts. Pro is an optional one-off payment of $12.99 for extra tools.
How do I buy Pro?
Email purchase@netwhat.app or message us on Discord. We’ll sort out payment and send you a Pro key. Enter it in Settings and Pro unlocks straight away, even offline.
Can I use it on my phone and my computer?
Yes, but each device keeps its own copy, because nothing is stored online. To move your data, download a backup on one device and restore it on the other.
Where do the prices come from?
From public market data, refreshed every few minutes. Netwhat downloads one shared price list and works out your values on your device, so what you hold is never sent anywhere. If you’d rather Netwhat never went online, turn live prices off in Settings.
Can I stop other people opening it?
Yes. Turn on the password lock in Settings and Netwhat asks for it every time it opens.
